Alphabet blocks are great for (pre-)literacy skills (letter recognition, phonics, word pronunciation, and spelling), social-emotional and conversational skills (turn taking, listening, interpreting) skills when played with others, and fine motor control. The braille and textured components of this item help adapt it for people with blindness/low vision, too-- including extra sensory components with both lower and upper case sides for each letter.
